Q & A
Q: What is FX Primer used for?

continuously
submerged. This includes drain systems, and coastal
piping and metals exposed to salt-air and salt-water.
Q: What about odor?
A: FX Primer exhibits very low odor.
Q: How difficult is the cleanup after I apply FX Primer?
A: Cleanup is easily done with plain water. FX Primer is water-based.
Q: What areas can I use FX Primer on?
A: Storage tanks near water or salt water, railings, metal ducts,
drain systems, and other metal pieces are candidates for FX Primer.
Any place where there is a high incidence of corrosion, or materials
need good protection.
Q: What makes FX Primer so superior to other coating products?
A: FX Primer contains the latest, and most up-to-date corrosion
resistance pigment technology, and combines ease of application.
There is little odor and easy cleanup. It stands up under continuous
immersion without blistering or bubbling, and protects metals from
degradation. FX Primer provides superior performance, and is a
great value.
Q: What can I use for a topcoat?
A: Any acrylic, elastomer, or urethane type coating may be used
for a topcoat. Alternately, there are many instances where FX Primer
has no topcoat, such as in ducts or drain systems.
Q: What about FX Primers’ resistance to breakdown
from bacteria or other microbes?
A: FX Primer contains EPA-Registered anti-microbials
that protect the coating itself from degradation.
